I was having my own version of 'writer's block' with designs lately, but after attending Blue Sky Event Rentals inventory release last evening, those creative wheels started to turn again and I was racing home with ideas!

While a seemingly simple choice, it can have a big impact on the flow & energy of your wedding reception! Read below to see the pros & cons of having a seating chart.

Pros:
- Organization and Flow - Guests know exactly where to go & helps ensure the event starts on time
- Avoids Awkward Situations -Ensures key family dynamics are respected
- Optimizes Space - Guarantees all tables are filled evenly without empty or overcrowded ones
- Fosters Socializing - Encourages mingling and networking for those who may not know many others at the wedding.

Cons:
- Time-Consuming to Plan - Can be stressful trying to accommodate everyone’s preferences and last-minute RSVPs could create more work
- Potential for Conflict - Guests might not like where or with whom they’ve been seated
- Can Be Logistically Tricky - Changes (like no-shows) on the day of can disrupt the carefully planned chart.
